WHAT CAN I DO? The following will be of great aid:
1. Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious or unusual activities to the Coast Guard on VHF Channel 16 or 9, or by calling (718) 993-0950.
2. Have everyone on your boat wear a life jacket (PFD) to show their support for the Team Coast Guard men and women on patrol.
